The Shire of Northam Ranger Services as of 1st July 2009 will be able to be contacted on (08) 9622 7267 instead of their previous number. This number should be used for emergency situations at all times. If your call is not answered immediately please leave a message and Council Officers will return your call as soon as practical.

Please contact the office on (08) 9622 6100 for general enquiries or non-emergency matters relating to Ranger Services.

Ranger Services are responsible for the enforcement of State Government legislation and Council’s Local Laws for controlling dogs, off-road vehicles, litter and parking. In cases of emergency or when life is threatened, assistance may be given to the removal and re-location of snakes and other wildlife.

New Rangers

Felix

Felix comes with a vast knowledge of the Northam area, due to
his experience from working at the previous Town and
Shire of Northam.

Felix takes up the  role of Senior Ranger and
Emergency Services Coordinator and is looking forward
to the daily challenges ahead.

  
  
 Janette

 

Janette commenced working as a ranger in the Pilbara region
and has had extensive experience in a variety of areas.

She thoroughly enjoys her role in dealing with the
community and is looking forward to the new
experiences and challenges the Wheatbelt
has to offer.
