Services Request
A services request is a means whereby the residents of the Shire of Northam can inform Council of problems, or pending problems within any particular area of Councils operations.
Service requests may be made by telephone, in writing to the Chief Executice Officer or personally at Council’s administration building, recreation centre, works depot or the library. You will receive written acknowledgment on receiving your request.
Once initiated the request is forwarded to the particular area of operations that deals with the issue. A Council Officer will then investigate the issue and take the appropriate action. In most cases, the issue will be dealt within in a preset timeframe. If the case is not able to be resolved immediately, the originator of the request will be informed.
Works and Services which do not have an allocation on Council's budget and cannot be undertaken within the maintenance program will require consideration by Council for inclusion in the budget.
Service requests are an important part of Councils’ operations, allowing the Shire of Northam to provide the highest level of service possible to our customers, and the community at large.
