The Northam Markets are back for the Summer months! Bernard Park will be a buzz of activity once again on the first Saturday of each month. Come down on Saturday 7th November and enjoy free kite-flying and Active Fun for Little Ones, a bouncy castle for the kids and all of those special market treasures you won't find in the stores! There is also a WALK WEEK Community Walk 'Around the Bridges'.
Events West versus East Sand Drags

In a 'West' versus 'East' spectacular, come and see the dirt fly in this action-packed event. Featuring head to head V8 bike racing, nitro harley sand draggers, wil nitro injected buggies, monster truck shootout and a burnout comp, this is an event not to be missed! Camping is available and the venue is fully licenced. For 2 days of live bands and motorsport action, get along to the Northam Speedway!
Events Christmas Lights Celebration

Events El Caballo Extreme Rodeo

El Caballo's Extreme Rodeo is back - Action with Attitude! Featuring wild untamed bulls and broncos ridden by some of the toughest and most talented riders from around the country. See some of the wildest events in rodeo's including Bull Riding, Saddle Broncs, Bareback Broncs, Team Roping, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing and Ladies Breakaway Roping. The doors open at 3.00pm - Main event is at 4.00pm. Why not stay the night, enjoy a game of golf or tennis and have a dining experience in the Ebano Bar and Restaurant?! See you there this November!

Events Wild Oats Music Festival

The Wild Oats Music Festival returns with a BANG in 2010 and will see Bernard Park come to life with live Australian bands, perfectly timed at the end of Summer. Wild Oats will feature local Northam lads ‘The Novocaines’ and 'The Trigger Jackets' as well as Western Australian heavyweights ‘Jebediah'. 'The Sneaky Weasel Gang' will also be in on the live music action. The headlining act is still to be announced so watch this space! Tickets are $45 and will be on sale soon. This is a licenced event. Camping is available at Jubilee Oval for $15 per person including breakfast. Don't miss the wheatbelt's biggest music event!
Events Wild Oats Ute Muster

The Wild Oats Ute Muster welcomes utes from around the Wheatbelt and surrounds to swarm to Northam and show their stuff! Various Show n Shine categories will be on offer with fantastic prizes. The Ute Muster will commence with a parade down Fitzgerald Street, climaxing with an exhibition of utes far and wide at Henry Street Oval. Entry is $20 and comes with free camping on Jubilee Oval. Camping includes a Sunday breakfast! The Wild Oats Music Festival featuring Jebediah, The Novocaines, The Sneaky Weasel Gang and The Trigger Jackets is also on so this is a WEEKEND of action not to be missed!
