The Shire of Northam is currently in a RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD. All burning activities require a permit and applications will only be accepted from primary producers (Agricultural) only. No single cubic meter burns accepted. For more information and to apply for a permit, click HERE.
The facility consists of:
The pool hosts a number of swimming carnivals for both the sporting elite and local schools. In addition, in-term and vacation swimming lessons, water exercise programes and limited early morning swimming sessions are held at the pool.
The facility provides disabled access to the Olympic size pool, Leisure Pool and has extensive shading.
The Wundowie Swimming Pool is located on Wandoo Parade, Wundowie.
The facility includes a 6 lane 33m main pool and two play pools for infants and young children.
There are shaded areas for people to relax, shower and toilet facilities and a BBQ.
The Wundowie pool also hosts the VacSwim program for students and a range of birthdays and functions for local residents.
