NAIDOC Week Celebrations

At Bilya Koort Boodja Centre

2 Grey Street, Northam (Next to the visitors centre)

 

Come along and celebrate with us at the Bilya Koort Boodja Cultural Centre for 3 days of activities during NAIDOC week.

 

Monday 8th July - 9.30am – 12.30pm

Community River Walk from BKB (with PCYC kids) followed by Opening Ceremony, Flag Raising, Welcome to Country, Didgeridoo Player & Dance, Guest Speakers, followed by a Morning Tea. We also have a Reconciliation Tree displayed in the BKB Centre courtesy of APM Northam - So come check it out and write your reconciliation message.

 

Tuesday 9th July – 10am

At ­10am we will be launching the start of our 5 week “FREE” Noongar Language program here at the BKB centre. All Welcome!!

 

Wednesday 10th July – 5.30pm

Dinner around the BKB campfire followed by a “FREE” film screening of the new Australian documentary.

UNDERMINED: TALES FROM THE KIMBERLEY at 6.30pm at the Bridgely Centre
