Native Tree Subsidy Program

Past Event

The Shire of Northam is working with Westgrow Farm Trees to provide a selection of native trees and shrubs for landowners to plant on their property as part of the Shire’s Native Tree Subsidy Program.
This program has been developed to encourage landowners to revegetate their properties to enhance and support biodiversity by improving the landscape quality. As the trees and shrubs establish, residents taking advantage of this program will be able to enjoy the benefits of increased shade, reductions in ambient temperature whist providing food, shelter and corridor connections between vegetation pockets for native animals.
Residents will be able to pay and collect their trees at the same time. The program will be running from the Shire Depot at 116 Peel Tce on the following days:
• Monday 29th May 10am – 1pm
• Wednesday 31st May 10am – 1pm
• Wednesday 7th June 10am – 1pm
Trays will cost $25 and payment can be made by cash or EFTPOS.
