//DATE SET FOR NORTHAM AQUATIC FACILITY OPENING// The Northam Aquatic Facility is set to officially open on Saturday, 25th January 2020 at 1.00pm. The Hon. Christian Porter MP will officially open the Facility which will be open for swimming immediately following the official opening. The project has been under construction over the past 12 months by Cooper and Oxley who were awarded the contract to build the new facility worth $10 million. This followed an extensive planning process with the design being undertaken by Donovan Payne Architects. The facility includes an eight lane 50 metre outdoor heated swimming pool, four water slides, a heated learn to swim area, BBQ facilities, as well as a heated leisure / ‘tots’ pool and shaded water play area.
