Spectators Welcome ! Come down to Broome Terrace and cheer the riders on as they make their way down to Clarke street along the river...
‘We manage to bring approximately 300 people into Northam over the weekend but struggle to get locals to the event. We are mainly looking for locals to come out of their houses in Northam along Broome Terrace on the Saturday afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm and cheer on the riders. Or, come to the Fundraising Auction on the Saturday evening from 7:00 pm at Avon Valley Equestrian Centre on Clarke Street. There is a licensed bar, great prizes, our fundraising auction and live music. Families welcome etc.’

We have some exciting new changes for this years event.
Introducing a one day option ride. Riders can select to ride either Saturday or Sunday and choose their distance of 25km or 50km for the day. All riders selecting the one day option are encouraged to stay with us Saturday night for dinner, live music plus our Fundraising Auction and stall. Family and friends are also welcome. Riders will need to supply their own overnight horse yard for this option.
This year we are supporting the Australian Alzheimer's Research Foundation. A local self-sustaining charity based in Nedlands,Western Australia that are working hard to make to support research that makes Alzheimer’s disease treatable and preventable.
