Set for Stargazing

Take a journey to the stars with us on this fun, free, family friendly community stargazing night in Northam!

On the evening you'll see spectacular sights through telescopes such as the Orion Nebula, Moon, the Jewel Box Cluster (located within the Southern Cross) and more! You'll also get familiar with your local universe through a laser guided tour as well as learning about what Astrotourism will mean for Northam.

BYO chairs, rugs, picnics, drinks, torches, warm clothes, insect repellent. This event will go ahead rain, hail or shine.

This event was made possible with funding from the Australian Government's Building Better Regions Fund and the Shire of Northam. It is part of the Astrotourism WA project that's promoting Northam as a destination for stargazing and astrophotography.

You will need to meet over at the Bilya Koort Boodja at 6.00 for it to start at 6:15.
