'Walking Together' Trail Mindful Meander
Past Event
Join me along the 'Walking Together' trail for an afternoon of nature immersed mindful walking.
We begin from behind the library building and make our way out of town along the trail.
Along the way we'll discuss nature, mindfulness and the art of 'Shinrin-yoku': a Japanese term for 'forest bathing', taking in the forest atmosphere.
The trail itself takes approximately one hour at a moderate pace. We'll stop along the way to discuss and practice some meditation and breathing techniques, complete with nourishing snacks and herbal tea.
Before returning to the library between 430pm and 5pm depending on our pace.
All you need is yourself, some water, a hat if required and maybe something to sit on if you'd like to be off the ground. Nourishing snacks, herbal tea and bug spray will be provided! Please be aware that as this is a nature hike bugs and dirt are a given.
The investment for the afternoon is $25, please email
