Northam Aquatic Facility
The Northam Aquatic Facility is your go-to destination for swimming, fitness, and family fun. With modern amenities and a wide range of programs, it’s the perfect place to cool off, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors.
Facilities
- 50-metre, 8-lane olympic pool (solar-heated, ramp access)
- 25-metre, 4-lane leisure pool (solar-heated, ramp access)
- Toddler pool and water slides
- Children’s play area
- Accessible change rooms and showers
- Grandstand and viewing areas
- BBQ and shaded picnic areas
Programs & Events
We host a variety of activities throughout the season:
- School swimming carnivals
- In-term and vacation swimming lessons
- Water exercise programs
- Early morning lap swimming sessions
The facility provides disabled access to the Olympic size pool, Leisure Pool and has extensive shading.
Opening Hours
The Northam Aquatic Facility is closed for winter (May to September).
Reopening dates are yet to be confirmed, please check back closer to spring for updates.
Hours may change due to weather, school holidays, or public holidays.
September - November (Autumn)
- Monday: 9am – 6pm
- Tue–Fri: 6am – 8am & 9am – 6pm (Facility is closed between 8am and 9am)
- Sat–Sun: 10am – 6pm
Public Holidays: 10am – 5pm
December - March (Summer)
- Monday: 9am – 7pm
- Tue–Thu: 6am – 8am & 9am – 7pm (Facility is closed between 8am and 9am)
- Friday: 6am – 8am & 9am – 8pm (Facility is closed between 8am and 9am)
- Saturday: 10am – 8pm
- Sunday: 10am – 7pm
Public Holidays: 10am – 5pm (Closed Christmas & New Year’s Day)
April - May (Spring)
- Monday: 9am – 6pm
- Tue–Fri: 6am – 8am & 9am – 6pm (Facility is closed between 8am and 9am)
- Sat–Sun: 10am – 6pm
Public Holidays: 10am – 5pm
Slide Hours
- Public Holidays: 11am – 4pm
- Weekends (During School Term): 11am – 5pm
- School Holidays: 11am – 5pm daily
- Extended Hours (Dec–Mar): Up to 7pm on select days
