Notification of Increase in Standpipe Charges

The Shire of Northam wishes to advise standpipe users of the impending increase in price for use of the five public access standpipes.

The price increase has arisen as a result of the Water Corporation changing their pricing structure and will take effect from 1 July 2022. The pricing will now vary at each of the standpipes and will be as follows:

Keane Street, Bakers Hill	$10.39

The above costings are reflective of current pricing being charged by the Water Corporation for the cost of water (including service charges), maintenance and upkeep of the public standpipe system in a cost recovery basis.

The Shire of Northam has five public standpipes that operate by swipe card.

Standpipe swipe cards are available at the Shire administration building.

Please complete the Standpipe Key Request Form a payment of $50 refundable deposit will be required upon collection of the card.
