Review Strategic Community Plan 2012-2022 (Closed)

The Shire of Northam is experiencing an exciting time of growth and change. This change brings with it many challenges and opportunities for the Council and the Shire and planning for this community’s future has never been more important.

To encourage you to submit your survey responses online, the Shire of Northam is offering you the chance to win an Apple iPad Air 2. If you complete the survey online and answer all the questions you have the opportunity to choose to be part of the draw by providing a contact email address at the end of this survey.
Purpose and use of this survey information:
The Shire is asking you to help it develop the right strategies needed to take it forward into a bright future by simply having your say in the review of its Strategic Community Plan. This plan is the Shire’s strategic document that guides decision-making about our future directions.

By spending 10-15 minutes to complete the following survey, you are supporting Council to understand how you believe the Shire is performing and what your thoughts are regarding the future for the Shire of Northam. This information will assist the Shire in planning to meet current and future needs.

The new Community Strategic Plan will also guide development of Council’s next four-year Delivery Plan, which sets out medium-term priorities, as well as its annual business plan.

Your views are really important to the Shire and your feedback will assist in refining its priorities, as well as setting a clear direction for the future. An open Community Summit will also be held on 11th April from 4-7pm to bring together all the people and ideas developed into the plan. Please register your interest in attending by leaving your contact information at the end of this survey or otherwise you can contact Alysha Maxwell on 9622 6114 or [email protected].

The survey is open to all residents and ratepayers aged 18 years or older.
Confidentiality:
Your responses will be managed and analysed by Integral Development, an independent strategic community planning consultancy. Your responses will be kept strictly private and confidential in accordance with the Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles.
