NOTICE OF PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT OF DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL
 
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL
 
Notice is hereby given for public information and comment that the Shire of Northam has received an application to amend the development approval for the existing free-range broiler poultry farm at Lot 13 Northam-York Road, Muluckine.
 
The proposed amendments increase the number of sheds on Farms 1 and 3 from 4 to 6 sheds and removes Farm 4 from the approved development with the number of overall sheds remaining the same at 16.
 
Details of the proposal are available on the Shire’s website in the ‘Out for Comment’ section at https://www.northam.wa.gov.au/consultations/general/proposed-amendment-to-development-approval-existing-free-range-broiler-poultry-farm and will be available until Friday 28th January 2022.
 
Written submissions in respect of the proposal should be made and received by the Shire of Northam by 4.00pm on Friday 28th January 2022. Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam WA 6401 or emailed to [email protected].
