The Shire of Northam is inviting community members to help shape the future of the district as part of a review of the Council Plan.

The Council Plan guides the Shire’s priorities, services and projects over the coming years. Community feedback plays an important role in ensuring the Plan reflects local needs, values and aspirations.
Residents, business owners and community members are encouraged to attend one of the upcoming workshops to share their ideas and identify what matters most for the future of Northam.
These sessions will be informal and interactive, providing an opportunity to:

Share ideas and priorities for the future

Talk directly with Shire staff

Discuss what’s working well and what could be improved

Contribute to setting community priorities
No preparation or prior knowledge is required, and everyone is welcome.

Community Transport
To support community members wishing to attend, a bus has been booked for Monday 31 March, providing transport from Wundowie to the Bakers Hill Recreation Centre.

Community members are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to ensure a prompt departure.
What happens next?
Community feedback gathered through the workshops will be carefully reviewed and used to inform the development of a draft of the reviewed Council Plan. The draft will then be finalised with the Shire’s Executives, finalised with the CEO, and circulated with Councillors before being presented to Council for endorsement.
