The Shire of Northam have released a page specifically to raise the profile of volunteering within any of our local emergency service groups within the Northam district.
This page will provide information to interested community members on the emergency service groups tat operate within the Northam district, and also information on how to join.
Over the coming weeks & months we will be posting profiles of some of our most experienced, and long serving emergency service volunteers to enable the community to get to know some of your emergency service volunteers.
It is hoped that this page will assist the community by providing community safety/education information aswell as promoting the incredible work that our dedicated teams of everyday people are doing in our communities.
Head over and give the page a like to keep up to enable you to keep up to date with the various volunteering opportunities available within these groups, and stay informed of community education campaigns that are tailored to our changing local environment.
It is hoped that in time this page becomes a valuable resource in not only showcasing the incredible work our teams are performing out in our communities but also as a knowledge base to provide the community with the tools to keep themselves, their families and their neighbours safe in all types of emergencies.
