Avon River Update

The Shire of Northam would like to advise the public to temporarily avoid all water contact activities in the Avon River.
This includes humans and animals, and activities such as swimming, kayaking, wading, and fishing.

This precautionary measure is due to stagnant water in the Avon River prior to the onset of winter rains.
