Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to the Local Government Act 1995 section 3.58(3)

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of multiple hangar sites at the Northam Airfield by lease in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 s.3.58(3).
The disposal price is as follows:
- $5.50 per square, per annum metre for recreational hangers, and
- $6.00 per square metre for commercial hangars, per annum
These fees are consistent with the rental rate set by Council on 20 July 2022.
The following leases expire on the 30 June 2024, and are set to be renewed by the current lease holders for a period of 10 years.
Council is requesting feedback related to the below dispositions.

Written submissions in relation to the proposed disposal must be lodged before 4.00pm, Monday 10 June 2024.
