Update to Permit to Burn conditions

Following the recent improvement in conditions, further relaxed burning permit conditions are now available for primary producers. 

Permits can now be issued to primary producers for crop preparations to:

• Burn all stubble and pasture types
• Burn timber piles if they are inside burnt/or burning paddocks as long as the pile is 50 meters or beyond from the burnt edge.

Permits are only available for primary producers and not open for any other type of burning at this stage. This is continually being reviewed.

Current Permit holders will need to re-apply for a new permit if they intend to burn these fuel types.
