EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES AMENDMENT LOCAL LAW 2018

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRIES LICENCE

The Shire of Northam has received an application to renew the Extractive Industries Licence at the following address and public comments are invited.

Address:  Pt Lot 100 (formerly Lot 14) Great Southern Highway, Woottating (known as Voyager II)

Licensee:  BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd

It is proposed to renew the Licence for a period of ten (10) years, which is due to lapse on 30 June 2019.

As part of the renewal, the Licensee has requested amendment to the License by deleting conditions 5 relating to access that has now been completed, and conditions 10, 14, 15 and 16 that are now regulated under Ministerial Statements 706 and 934.

Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before close of business on Friday, 24 May 2019.
