Free guest Wi-fi is available, and library members can use our public library computers.

Build the skills and confidence you need to use computers, tablets and smart phones.
Our volunteer will help you apply online for documents such as passport renewal and visas, show you basic computing skills and help you work out how to use your phone.

Crafty Connect
1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 2-3 p.m.
Like to craft and have no time for it at home?
Bring your latest project to the library, and work alongside other crafters.
On the third Thursday of each month, we will be doing workshop sessions, centered around a skill or material.

Book Club
2nd Thursday of the month 2 - 3 p.m.
Adults who love to chat about the latest book they read will enjoy these monthly sessions.
To encourage reading new authors and styles, we have a monthly theme of authors who were born in that month.
We have a selection of books ready, for easy borrowing, or you can bring along your own book.

Madri Gals
3rd Thursday of the month 12 - 2 p.m.
A friendly, small-format music club, where members can sing and share songs from their cultural backgrounds, learn to play a new instrument, or bring their own to play.
Beginners are welcome.
Come along and share the magic of music!
Tea and coffee available, join us on the mezzanine floor of the Northam Library.
To make sure there are enough instruments for everyone, please let the library know by the day before if you are coming along to this session.

We welcome players of all levels to our friendly monthly game.
As well as original scrabble, we have a collaborative version, making this a great way to learn how to play the game.

Baby Rhyme Time is a fun way to learn new rhymes and meet other families.
Rhymes and songs are not just fun - they teach story telling, sounds, and listening skills.
If you look after a 0 - 2 year old on Wednesday, come along to the Northam Library. Older children are welcome to join in too!

Activity Time is suggested for little ones just old enough to graduate from rhyme time to something a little more adventurous.
Action songs, lots of movement, and simple stories, followed by a play activity.

Create with Lego
Wundowie Library -Thursdays 3 - 4 pm
Northam Library - Fridays 3:30 - 4:30 pm
Runs every week during school term, for school aged Lego builders. Free building with our supply of Lego bricks. Base plates can be put aside, allowing your child to extend or re-do their previous work.
Creations are dismantled at the end of each term.

Dungeons and dragons
Northam Library -Thursdays 3:30 - 5 pm
Our DnD session is for teens.
Runs every week, during school term, depending on Dungeon Master availability. Imaginative game, with emphasis on cooperation, and problem solving.
Last session for Term 3 is 11th September 2025

How to join the library:
Joining is easy with some current ID that shows your address.
Members can borrow up to 8 items at a time (books, audio books, DVDs, puzzles, games, magazines and bunting), for 3 weeks, and take 2 packets of seeds at each visit.
Library members can use our public library computers, including the use of Ancestry.com library edition.
Library members can log in to renew or request items by clicking on https://catalogue.slwa.wa.gov.au/search~S52 . If you are logging in for the first time, use the "Forgot my password" reset, or call either library during opening hours.
We also have a Housebound Delivery service for patrons who meet our criteria - please ask at the desk for more details.
