Changes to Waste Management Facility Requirements in 2025/2026
Commencing Tuesday, 1 July 2025 mattress disposal will be limited to 2 x free disposals per financial year, per residential address. This will be captured against your address and waste facility pass. If you are not a Shire of Northam resident or are a commercial customer, a disposal fee will be applicable.
Changes to Waste Management Facility Tipping Fees in 2025/2026
Commencing Tuesday, 1 July 2025 the Shire of Northam is also introducing a minimum charge on the below items being disposed of:

Proof of residency can include: drivers license, rates notice or utility bills.
