Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of the following land by lease in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995:

• Northam Airport Hangar Site 34 - Renewal and variation of lease to extend the term to 30 June 2030, comprising of 457.20 square metres to Charles Schoch and David Kerr for the purposes of a recreational aircraft hangar. The proposed disposal price is $5.50 per square metre which is consistent with the valuation obtained on 7 April 2022 and the standard rate set by Council on 20 July 2022.

Written submissions in respect of the proposed disposal may be lodged until Friday, 27 January 2023. Submissions should be marked “Disposal of Property – Hangar 34” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam, WA 6401 or emailed to: [email protected].
