Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995
The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of the following land by lease in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995:
The Shire of Northam intends to dispose of the above mentioned land to Mr Ross and Mrs Angela Hall to use for stock grazing purposes. The lease is offered for a period of three (3) years with a renewal option of two (2) years. The proposed disposal price is $323.00 Ex GST per hectare per annum which is consistent with the market valuation obtained in November 2022.
Written submissions in relation to the proposed disposal may be lodged until 5:00pm on 17 March 2023. Submissions should be marked “Disposal of Portion Lot 1 Withers Street” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam, WA 6401 or emailed to [email protected]
