Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Northam has prepared the above-mentioned Local Planning Scheme Amendment.

The purpose of the proposed Amendment is to include a ‘tourist accommodation’ land use as an additional use at No's. 200 – 202 Duke Street, Northam and amend the Scheme Maps accordingly.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the local planning scheme amendment have been deposited at the Council office, 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam and will be open for inspection during office hours up to and including Wednesday 7 June 2017. Submissions on the Local Planning Scheme Amendment may be made in writing and lodged with the Shire of Northam on or before Wednesday 7 June 2017.
