The Shire of Northam offers funding to support community wellbeing, strategic growth, and long-term sustainability. Each is guided by Council Policy CP.32 or CP.70, outlining eligibility, funding limits, and the types of projects/events supported.
Bright Ideas Grant
One of them is the Bright Ideas Grant that offers up to $2,000 (ex. GST) available for projects that respond to local needs, think about the whole community or specific groups (e.g. children, youth, seniors, people with disability, or culturally and linguistically diverse communities).
Grant designed for one-off, ad hoc, or small-scale projects/events, or even to support new opportunities.
Projects that align with the Shire of Northam Council Plan are strongly encouraged.
- First round closes 31 August.
- Decisions within 25 working days after the round closes.
