The Shire of Northam offers funding to support community wellbeing, strategic growth, and long-term sustainability. Each is guided by Council Policy CP.32 or CP.70, outlining eligibility, funding limits, and the types of projects/events supported.
Community Growth Grant
One of them is the Community Growth Grant that offers funding of $2,001 to $10,000 (ex. GST) to support projects that build community connection and create long-term impact across the Shire of Northam.
Funding is available for a wide range of initiatives, including:

Strategic planning or feasibility studies

Building upgrades or maintenance
-
Training for committees and club officials
-
Organisational development
-
Major community events
Projects that align with the Shire of Northam Council Plan are strongly encouraged.
This grant is open to not-for-profit incorporated community groups and sporting clubs based in or operating within the Shire of Northam.
- Applications close at 4PM on 21 September.
- Applicants will be notified of the outcome within 25 working days of the round closing.
