Shire of Northam Extraordinary Election
The Shire of Northam will be holding an extraordinary election for the West Ward on 16 March2023 as a result of the resignation from West Ward Councillor Paul Curtis on 25 November 2022.
Council received the resignation at its meeting on 21 December 2022 and determined thatthe Electoral Commissioner will be responsible for the conduct of the Extraordinary Electionwhich will be held as a postal election.

Shire President, Cr Chris Antonio thanked Paul Curtis for his services to the community as aWest Ward Councillor and encourages ratepayers with a desire to represent the Shire’s WestWard to consider nominating for the vacancy.
