Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of the following land by lease in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995:

• Northam Airfield Hangar Site 27 – Assignment and Extension of Lease from Avon Community Development Foundation Inc to Cropcair Pty Ltd, from 1 September 2023 to 30 June 2029 for the purposes of an aircraft hangar. The proposed disposal price is $6.00 per square metre per annum which is consistent with the valuation obtained on 7 April 2022 and the rental rate set by Council on 20 July 2022.

Written submissions in relation to the proposed disposal may be lodged until 5:00pm on 31 August 2023. Submissions should be marked “Disposal of Hangar 27” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam, WA 6401 or emailed to [email protected]
