Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of the following land by lease in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995:

 

  • A portion of Lot 29081 Aphylla Road, Burlong (Reserve 44700) comprising of 41.8 hectares as highlighted below:

 

 The Shire of Northam intends to dispose of the abovementioned land to Mr David Painter and Mrs Elissa Painter to use for agricultural purposes. The lease is offered for a period of three (3) years with a renewal option of two (2) years. The proposed disposal price is $2,016 per annum Ex GST. The Shire of Northam received a valuation in November 2021 which determined the market rent at $10,000 per annum Ex GST.
