Local community groups, charitable or not-for-profit organisations delivering initiatives in communities where Rio Tinto Iron Ore and Dampier Salt Limited operate and have an impact, including across the Pilbara region, Peel, Great Southern, Mid West, South West, Wheatbelt, Carnarvon, Broome and Derby.
Each organisation can apply for a minimum of $500 to a maximum of $5,000 per calendar year. Rio Tinto may not necessarily fund the whole (or any) of the requested grant, even if they meet the funding criteria.
Rio Tinto will consider applications for initiatives that provide benefit to communities where we live and work and are aligned with our focus areas.
To fill out an application and for a full breakdown of the guidelines, see the attached document.
