You asked for...Youth services
You asked for more facilities and services for youth and families, as well as bigger and better parks for children.
We have responded by committing to identify and deliver more youth focused activities such as urban art programs and school holiday activities, as well as partnering with local service providers to offer an extended program of free and affordable activities for children and youth. We will also advocate to attract new businesses to meet youth and family leisure needs, supplement the Kidsport program, and provide a Public Open Space Strategy to consider more recreational use areas for youths and children. These commitments will begin in the 22/23 financial year, but will be rolled out across the lifetime of the plan.
