You asked for better maintenance on our verges.  

Although it is often difficult to cover the over 1800 kilometres of verges we have in the Shire of Northam, we have listened to feedback and recognised that rural verges in particular are in need of regular maintenance. In response we have committed to spraying rural verges once per year, as well as slashing and spraying corner verges in front of Council land and vacant lots in urban areas twice per year in our recently adopted Plan for the Future.
