Special Council Meeting - 12 July 2023

A Special Meeting of Council has been convened by the Shire President which will take place in the Council Chambers, located at 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam.

Date: 12 July 2023

Time: 6:30pm.

Purpose: To consider the minutes from the Chief Executive Officer Review Committee Meeting held on 12 July 2023.

The meeting is not open to members of the public.

C.4794 14 Motion to move behind closed doors That Council, in accordance with section 11.1(i) of the Shire of Northam Standing Orders Local Law 2018 and section 5.23 (2) (a) of the Local Government Act 1995, meet behind closed doors to consider agenda item 14.1 - Chief Executive Officer Review Committee Meeting held on 12 July 2023, as it related to a matter affecting an employee/employees.
C.4795 14.1 Chief Executive Officer Review Committee Meeting held on 12 July 2023. That Council receive the minutes from the Chief Executive Officer Review Committee Meeting held on 12 July 2023.
C.4796 14.1 Chief Executive Officer Review Committee Meeting held on 12 July 2023. That Council:
  1. Accepts that the minutes of the Chief Executive Officer Review Committee meeting held on 15 June 2023 be confirmed as a true and correct record of that meeting.
  2. Adopt the Chief Executive Officer Review and Selection Committee Terms of Reference as provided in Attachment 1.
  3. Confirms that following as members of the selection panel for the employment of the Chief Executive Officer:
    1. Members of the Chief Executive Officer Review and Selection Committee, comprising of Cr Chris Antonio, Cr Michael Ryan, Cr Julie Williams, Cr Attila Mencshelyi and Cr Des Hughes; and
    2. Hon. Mia Davies (independent panel member as per decision C.4730).
