The Shire of Northam wishes to advise that due to improved fire weather conditions the OPEN BURNING PERIOD is now in effect as of 12:00pm on 03 May 2024.

The Shire of Northam gives public notice in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995, section 3.50 (1a) and (4) of its intention to periodically close Gordon Place, Northam. Details of the closure are as follows:
Where: Gordon Place, Northam.
When: From 3.00pm on Fridays to 7.00am Mondays for a period of 12 months, commencing Friday, 6th December 2019.
Purpose: Pedestrian access to Laura’s Wine Bar.
Submissions in relation to the closure can be made in writing to the Shire of Northam until 5:00pm on Wednesday, 4th December 2019.
