Located in the heart of the picturesque Avon Valley, Northam is home to a diverse range of tourist and heritage attractions, including hot air ballooning, cultural experiences, wildflowers, tours & trails, historic buildings, horse racing, white swans, and much, much more.
The Shire of Northam is currently in a RESTRICTED BURNING PERIOD until 12:00am on 15 May 2024. Please be aware that permits for burning are necessary until May 15, 2024. For more information and to apply for a permit, click HERE.

The Shire of Northam wishes to advise that the following road closures will be in place during the ANZAC Day Parade on 25 April 2024:
Thursday 25 April 2024 from 5:00am – 1:00pm
A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will be in place during this period. Please observe traffic management measures on site and drive to conditions.
