The Shire of Northam wishes to advise that due to improved fire weather conditions the OPEN BURNING PERIOD is now in effect as of 12:00pm on 03 May 2024.

The Water Corporation have advised that they will be conducting essential maintenance on the water mains in Northam to improve the reliability of the water system. Work is scheduled to commence end of April 2022.
Additionally the road will be closed;
A Traffic Management Plan (TMP) will be in place during this period. Please observe traffic management measures on site and drive to conditions.
Water Corporation contractors will be following government advice relating to COVID-19 to complete this work. Please keep a safe distance from the worksites and workers.
