The Shire of Northam is currently in a PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD as of 18th November 2023. All burning is strictly not allowed and all signs of smoke/fire should be reported to 000 immediately. For more information please click HERE.

The Shire of Northam wishes to advise that works on Wellington Street, Northam will commence 6 July 2021 to estimated completion date 16 July 2021. Kerb reconstruction will be conducted at the location as per map.
Works will be undertaken weekdays, between the hours of 7:00am – 6:00pm. Some Saturday works may be required with some preparatory work outside of these times also needed.
Roadside carpark closures will be in place with detours positioned. On-site traffic controllers will aid as required to assist road users.
Work is subject to weather permitting
