Midland and Airport Line Closure 2024

The Midland and Airport line will close from the evening of Thursday 28 March to first service Monday 8 April 2024 to carry out essential works for the 𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗧 Morley-Ellenbrook Line project.
 
During the shutdown, Transperth will operate rail replacement buses. The shutdown will impact some TransWA and Indian Pacific rail services.
 
Essential rail and associated infrastructure works will be completed during the shutdown including realigning 600m of track to realign the Midland Line onto the new fourth platform at Bayswater Station.
 
There will be continuous, round-the-clock works during the shutdown period and beyond as we progress the Morley-Ellenbrook Line project.
